Mac Pink Pigeon Vs Flat Out Fabulous
- I love all MAC lipsticks and wear them on a daily basis. I usually stick to the neutrals but I like to rock a bold lip when I’m feeling super girly! So here’s my Bright Pink collection. (Left to Right – Pink Nouveau, Pink Pigeon, Viva Glam Miley Cyrus, Girl About Town, Flat Out Fabulous). Pink Nouveau – Satin.
- MAC Flat Out Fabulous; This one is perhaps the second favorite Retro Matte lipstick after Ruby Woo. This one is a purple based blue-toned fuchsia. It is not exactly purple but a perfect blend between pink and purple. The shade looks flattering on all skin types. The formula is extreme matte but not as drying as Ruby Woo. Price- Rs.1650 for 3gm.

MAC Pink Pigeon Matte Lipstick Review, Swatches: Hello Guys! As you all know by now I am a big, no biggest lipstick addict and I keep on purchasing them no matter at what price I pay. Today I am reviewing a lipstick from MAC. After reviewing Mac lipstick from the Retro Matte Range All fired up, now I am reviewing their matte lipstick range in the shade Pink Pigeon.
MAC Mocha – medium-dark peachy brown. It has a satin finish; 4-5 hours of wear time MAC Glamour Era – medium-dark brown with warm, peachy undertones and a very slight shimmer. And at last coming to my favorite shades from pink are from left to right direction: – Pink pigeon, Daddy’s little girl and Love forever!
I always wanted to buy candy yum yum for me but when I saw the swatches on internet I thought it will wash me out because it is neon pink so I picked Pink Pigeon which is little darker than candy yum yum. To know how it faired on me and see swatches read on my review.

In Detail MAC Pink Pigeon Matte Lipstick Review, Swatches and My Experience
Packaging
The lipstick comes in a matte black and white printed rectangular cardboard box which bears all the necessary information. The actual lipstick has a matte black and silver body which is very strong and sturdy. I once dropped my lipstick and it did not break *touchwood* . There is a white coloured sticker glued on the bottom which carries the lipstick name and number. The cap shuts lock which closes tightly and ensures that the lipstick is travel friendly which can be carried along easily without any hassle.
Texture & Finish
The texture of Mac Matte lipstick Pink Pigeon is very smooth and buttery. It glides on my lips effortlessly without tugging or pulling my lips unlike their retro matte range. Though the lipstick is matte it does not dry out my lips, the finish it gives is not completely matte. It is sort of a semi creamy matte. I do not feel any need of applying lip balm underneath as it moisturising enough. It has a sweet vanilla scent which I adore.
Shade Pink Pigeon from MAC
Mac describes Pink Pigeon shade as a bright cleanest pink shade. But for me the shade is neon pink with very strong blue undertones. This shade will significantly wash out girls with above nc45 skin tone. I am nc42 in Mac and Pink Pigeon does suit me but only when I apply a little dark pink lip liner and than above it I apply this lipstick. It is very bright and I do not wear it at daytime because it looks very loud on lip (I hope you all understand what am I trying to explain). I also wear it as a stain I apply it very lightly and dab it with my fingers to give my lips a very beautiful pinky flush of colour. The shade will good very good on fair and pale skin tone girls.
Staying Power
Mac Matte Lipstick Pink Pigeon Stays On my lips for 4 to 5 hours. It does transfer as it is demi matte and not completely matte. But it does not come off completely. It does not settle into fine lines nor it dries off the lips further. It leaves a beautiful pinkish stain on my lips which looks amazing.
Overall Verdict
Mac Pink Pigeon is a beautiful pink lipstick which is really nice and bright. The lipstick is matte and does not dry out my lips. If you love such bright bold fun loving shades, then this is exactly for you.

1. If you have extremely dry lips exfoliate and than apply this lips.

3. Mac lipstick are a little pricey. You can get the same shade of other brands also which are more affordable than this.

I soooo meant to put this post up while I was in the Caribbean but then you know how it is—island vibes just feel so right so I was totally into just liming (Trini speak for hanging out) so I brought you my kinda daily diaries…lol. But yeah, I did one on my fave nude lip colors because although I brought you a ton of colors in both of my 50 Shades of Lipstick series, I also showcased colors just so you’d see how a certain color looked and those weren’t all necessarily my faves. And then after the shade my mom gave me for my nude lip colors (lol), I thought it would be nice to let you know which colors were my personal faves—you know—in case you care about what I like…lol. /game-pigeon-online-free.html.
Sleek MakeUP Fandango Purple, a matte magenta that looks so much like MAC Flat Out Fabulous (goes on like a gloss and dries matte)
Nexon game security is this a pigeon meme.
Milani Uptown Mauve, a cream with shine magenta pink
MAC Pink Pigeon, a matte bright bubble gum pink
MAC Style Curve, a creamy with shine magenta pink {I think this might be LE but you know how they bring back shades—let’s hope this is one they revive}
MAC Flat Out Fabulous, a retro matte magenta pink

MAC Sheen Supreme Lipstick in Zen Rose, a very creamy slightly opaque with shine (like a cross between an opaque gloss and a satin lipstick) bright cool pink—some of the brightness is toned down because of the texture
MAC Quick Sizzle, a matte bright cool pink {I think this also might be LE, but again, MAC sure loves to revive colors—alternately you can Google “MAC Quick Sizzle dupe” to find comparison shades—I’m not that great at that stuff unless I see a blatant dupe like how Milani Sangria looks like MAC Rebel or how Sleek MakeUP Fandango Purple looks exactly like MAC Flat Out Fabulous. Ok, it’s not so much that I’m not great at spotting dupes—I just focus more on helping you guys find your best shades for your complexion than I do for dupes if that makes sense. And then believe it or not—even with all this lipstick I own, there’s still a lot of shades I don’t have. OK…WHY am I rambling? smh}
MAC All Fired Up, a retro matte deep rosy pink that can sometimes look a bit on the pinky red side

Bite Beauty Shiraz, a very creamy mauve pink
Tarte LipSurgence Natural Matte Lip Tint in Envy, a super comfy rosy pink matte
Also—please note that these are SOME of my favorite pinks. This doesn’t mean I’m saying because you don’t see a pink shade here that it isn’t a good fit for dark skin—these are also ones I already have pics of me in so I wouldn’t have to retake a bunch of pics—you gotta work smarter not harder, hon-nay! Also I’m only including dark skin here because I have dark skin—these pink shades also work on a variety of skin tones—but you can also check out my Your Best Makeup Colors series to find makeup shades that work on a wider range of skin tones. And you can still holla at a play if you have questions (do people still say holla at a playa?).
Oh—the makeup in all of these pics in the series is exactly the same—if you want to see what my MUA friend Mila Thomas used on me, check out this post.
